Ruleby, ActiveRule, and Resterly are three projects I am working on. I cofounded the Ruleby project and will soon release ActiveRule and Resterly. ActiveRule will be a plugin aimed at making Ruleby easier to use with Rails and Merb. Resterly is an erlang based project to help with the building of REST based services in erlang. Hopefully these projects will be useful for others...

about 1 month later: Hi Chris, We are getting closer to having the grammar defined for the external DSL for Ruleby. The grammar is being defined with Treetop. ActiveRule will use this DSL. I got to a point with ActiveRule and really needed to be able to persist the rules outside of Ruby, so we backed up and started working out the details of the external DSL. Once we have a version working I will have an update on ActiveRule. Thanks, Matt
